Why is my apple TV display not working?

I updated Apple TV and all seemed to work fine until I switched it off yesterday and went to turn it back on today to watch something. Basically the Apple TV is starting up OK but its screen not working. I have tried different HDMI cables and a different TV both new LCD / LED TV’s but nothing is coming out. Apart from pulling the power, is there any way or resetting this thing if I can't see anything on screen? Please help.

I have faced this problem once with Apple TV. I have found out the solution for my problem and did these things to start it comfortably. I hope it will work for you also. Let’s have a look:

When you connect power, ensure that the LED turns on. If the LED is not on, then confirm with a known good power outlet or connect something else to the outlet you're using for Apple TV and make sure it works (such as a lamp or clock).

Check that you're using the exact video cables and that they are connected steadfastly to Apple TV and to your TV.

Confirm that the input setting you've selected on your TV synced the input you have your video cables connected to. See the TV manual for more details.

If you are linked through HDMI then keep try to unplug and re-plug your HDMI cable.

If HDMI isn't operational on an Apple TV (1st generation), then try component cables as an alternative (and disconnect the HDMI cable temporarily).

I hope this answer will work for you.

Best of luck!
