why is there No audio from HD PVR of Pioneer VSX-1019AH-K ?

My setup: pioneer vsx-1019ah-k: Component to Receiver, DVD: Component to Receiver, Wii: Component to Receiver, Videotron HD PVR HDMI to PVR. The PVR and the TV are connected via HDMI. Anyway this was working great since I got it which has been over six months now. My friend found a way to just destroy my HDMI configuration. I've been at this for a few hours and I just can't figure it out. I have tested all other components and all devices work perfectly, went over my configuration from beginning to end, Reset to factory settings. If anyone has any ideas on what I could try next it would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not an expert but I own a 919, the only thing I canthink of is switching between the memories modes so from memory 1 to memory 2to test the sub because it might be a memory setting issue. By your statement Ibelieve that you probably have the left and right speakers set to large. Thatbeing the case, in Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1 surround sound, the subwoofer willreproduce only the sound from the LFE channel. In stereo or when creating 5.1from a two-channel source, if you don't have the left and right speakers set toSmall the sub will not output sound as there is no LFE channel in thoseformats. A thorough read of your owner's manual is in order with specialemphasis on speaker size and crossover setting.
