Can you tell me about Blackberry 9800?

I am using Blackberry 9800 since two months now! I would like to know how can I make out that I have connected to wi-fi when I’m browsing the internet. There is a white wi-fi sign at the top right with the blackberry symbol. I would like to know what does it state? Also, how can I use different applications on wi-fi. Please help.

Hey I am also very fond of cell phones and from the last week I am using Blackberry 9800 and it has got very amazing features and it has brought a great versatility to both my personal and professional life.

You can avail the facility of wifi using GPRS service.GPRS stands for general packet radio service and this service allows your device to access data. The first thing which you need to do is to perform a software reset on your device. And if this software reset do not work then perform the hardware reset on your device. After performing both resets checkthe wireless antenna for the signal strength. The antenna must show the GPRS signal. If you can still make phone calls and access the Web, then your Wi-fi service is available. You can use the wifi service for different net applications like emailing chatting and many more applications you can accesswith the help of wifi.

Hope this informationwill help you a lot in satisfying your concern
