Why is blackberry bold 9650 email troubling me?


I recently bought myself a brand new blackberry bold 9650 but after using it for sometimes I figured out that it was a defective piece. My emails won't work at all. I had to 'move' the accounts over, so I did. It said it was successful and yet I won't receive any new emails or anything! I've tried taking the battery out, nothing has solved the issue. I try to send the service books, and when I do it says "update failed". Does anyone know anything how can I do fix it? If yes, than please suggest something.

The problem you are facing comes due to lack of GPRS service. GPRS stands for general packet radio service and this service allows your device to access data. The first thing which you need to do is to perform a software reset on your device. And if this software reset do not work then perform the hardware reset on your device. After performing both resets check the wireless antenna for the signal strength. The antenna must show the GPRS signal. If you can still make phone calls and access the Web, then your GSM service is still available. Try sending yourself an email and check whether it works or not? If it doesn’t, call your BlackBerry provider. Sometimes, your service could be delayed due to a billing problem or to downtime on the network. This will surely help you in resolving your issue.
