Blackberry Curve 8350i iDen Network Problem!

I came to know that users on 8350i on the Nextel iDen network are complaining that their send-sms feature does not work. They are able to manually send SMS using the default SMS app just fine, just not through my app. I have an app that sends an SMS message programmatically based on certain user actions. Anyone have any ideas? How can this be fixed? Waiting eagerly for your feedback. Thanks.

Thistype for an old phone with a few new tricks. TELUS and Blackberry still have not learnt anything. They are lacking the same things they left out with my 7100i. No texting no net alerts, and the famous iDen system still does not the work properly. The owner of a smallcourier company, I need the Mike system. I required a Mike phone forcommunication with our drivers and was hoping that the 7100i would be a good extensionfor my business needs. The cheaper the phones from TELUS for the Mike systems work better than my Blackberry. The new 8350i does not address any of the needs that we were waiting for. When will TELUSand Blackberry learned to give the client they are for need for business, the Mike system is geared toward business Goodlooking phone, wifi works like a charm, dc works super well even with headset, memory card slot, data is slow but that is an IDEN issue not a phone issue, I don’t really need sms so that’s not a big deal forme, as well there is no lag when using several programs, this is a great phoneif you dc and you need e-mail.
