Back in September, the BlackBerry Essex was then without notice. Now a Verizon branded version has seen and confirmed that it will launch the 9650 Essex Verizon soon.

Essex BlackBerry 9650, also known as BlackBerry Tour 2 is a successor to the 9630Tour. Verizon is planning the launch of the BlackBerry Essex 9650 maybe in a couple of months along with the Pre Palm, Motorola and LG VS750 Devour.

Some features of the 9650 Essex are: Wi-Fi, optical trackpad, and other features that the original Tour also has.

This enhanced version of the Tour and stylish yet has no number code, but is believed to be 9650. Like its processor , the Essex is a phone but with a few CDMA/3G improvements:

Trackpad - As RIM will have been observed by replacing the trackball in their new devices trackpad and trackpad is the same we find in the Bold 2 (9700).
* WiFi - Although unable to make calls is still a big improvement in terms of connectivity the device.
2GB of internal memory - A great advantage but it has an SD card and you need to store photos or videos.

The device used for revision but according Salomondrin Sprint will not only be released by the operator but also by Verizon Wireless. So far, no confirmed dates for the launch of the BlackBerry, although several websites say it will be this December, he believes it will end the first quarter of next year. Another aspect that we mentioned in Salomondrin review is the camera because there were rumors claiming that the camera would be better but it seems this is false. Below you can see two images on the left is taken by the camera of the Tour and on the right taken by the camera in Essex and one could say there are not many differences in image quality.
