Can someone share about Boost Mobile?

My question is regarding Boost mobile, as to what it is and what is its function. Also, I would like to know is it possible for anyone to activate a Blackberry or say any android smart phone on the 60 unlimited plan? I am really confused and unable to find an appropriate response. I had spoken to my friends but they we’re also not clear about it. Help me.

Boost mobiles referred as no contract cellphones .Boost Mobile was the first prepaidcarrier which offered the walkie –talkie service , and it also boast as theonly prepaid carrier with easily accessible GPS on all the new phones and hencemaking driving directions for each and every turn easily accessible .

Accesing web can be a bit slow due to the nature of the Nextel Network but it isavailable at an inexpensive rate of 20 cents per day where some partsaccessible for free. One can either choose their "chirp days, chatnights" plan, which offers unlimited walkie talkie for $1 per day andairtime for 20 cents a minute, or Boost's Premium Plan, which is a unique,$50-per-month, 'hybrid' option. To further increase prepaid appeal, all night, weekend and Mobile To Mobile minutes (to and from other Boost, Nextel or SprintPCS subscribers) are just 10 cents a piece.

Apart fromall this features Boost also features many of the common cellular features likecaller ID, Call forwarding , 3 way calling , voicemail hence making it a veryaffordable all round prepaid service for areas that have coverage ( Nextelcovers 260+ million people) and the features like walkie talkie and GPS adds tothe numerous features.

only the blackberry runs on the $60 plan , all other phones including androids run on the $50 plan.
