do not call list for cell phones really works?

Really interested to know who really controls the do not call list for cell phones and does it really works against unwanted marketing calls. I used to get a lot of marketing calls during my office hours. I am using sprint mobile service in Wichita (Kansas). I have no option to tackle such unwanted calls and i am seriously looking for a service to stop them. Any one has got any suggestion about it or any other service that i can really use to prevent the unwanted marketing calls.

in order to be saved the embarrassment of getting unwanted calls all the time, you could get your number registered on national do not call registry. sometime back all cell phone numbers were being released to telemarketing companies sometime back and then you will start to receive sale calls. you may also be CHARGED FOR THESE unwanted CALLS To avoid this from happening, you can call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222. this number is of the National DO NOT CALL list. It is only going to take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five years. You must call to this number from the cell phone number that you want to have blocked. You cannot call from a different cell phone number. you can also help other people BY PASSING THIS information to ALL YOUR FRIENDS. you can also complain to this registry,if even after getting yourself registered, you are still receiving these unwanted calls. and the defaulters may be asked to pay heavy fine for disturbing you without your consent.
