One man’s loss is another man’s gain and this is even more relevant as the Chinese search engine Baidu considers entering the mobile OS market, developed with the help of ex-Google employees, to compete with rivals such as Google’s Android. While the details are scarce, but if the rumors hold true, Baidu may be looking to use its mobile OS to help give it an edge in the increasingly important mobile search market. However, it’s too early to comment on any such scenario.
