How to close the application on iPhone without keeping it in multitasking bar?

Yesterday I bought an I-phone so I am trying to learn its features everything else is almost simple but I want to ask you are there a way how to close the application without having it displayed in multitasking bar? Or to disable multitasking entirely, tell me in detail and suggest me with some of its features and precautions that I must take while using my I-phone?

Off course, you can do it. Recently Apple Inc has introduced iOS 4 and by of its featureyou can enjoy a new way of multitasking.

I think, everytime you open an application on your iPhone and it remains open. To see the openApplications and for doing multitasking- just double click on the Home buttonand the multitasking window will pop up.

You can seea menu will come into view at the bottom of the screen screening the open apps.To view all the open apps simply touch the menu screen left and right.

At the timeof touching the screen to the left most multitasking screen, you will find anumber of fixed controls. Not only this, there is a button to lock the screen direction, previous track, track play and track forward ipod controls and a quick entreeto the iPod application.

Just visitthis link for more info: www.apple.com/support/

I hope that you will enjoy this multitaskingfeature with this answer. Good luck!
