How do i connect my bluetooth cell phones?

I want to know one thing about Bluetooth cell phones that if a cell phone is Bluetooth capable does that mean I have to buy a Bluetooth or is the Bluetooth built-in on the cell phone? Also if my car has Bluetooth, does this mean my phone will automatically be picked up on the radio or is there a purchase I need to make? Or how do I connect my cell phone to my computer using Bluetooth? Please help me out any advice will be helpful.

Bluetooth is a wireless technology which allows transfer of data between two or more devices, over a short distance. This technology utilizes radio waves between the range 2400 to 2480 Mega hertz to transfer data. However, the data transmitting device as well as the data receiving device must possess bluetooth technology and it should be switched on. A bluetooth enabled device can be paired with another similar device for frequent transfer between them. The paired devices connects automatically right after the bluetooth feature is switched on in both the devices.

Bluetooth is available as an in-built feature on the cell phones. You may not add it externally. If you would like to share data with your laptop or other mobiles without using wires, then buy a mobile which has bluetooth technology. Laptops are generally available with bluetooth as a standard feature. If your car has bluetooth technology, you may pair your mobile with your car, however, you are free to decide whether to pick up your calls or not. Since the transfer speed of blue-tooth technology is around 30 to 40 kbps, you may experience slower speeds than transferring by wires. Also, they have a short distance limit, which means that the devices must be within 10 to 15 meters for successful transfers.
