Can we create iPhone games with Unity?

We've been developing a pretty nice game for the last months, and we don't want to drop it on the app store just to listen a big "bloop" and then watch it sink to the bottom of the app store. Which is why we are looking at the possibility of getting a publisher? Can someone please let me know if it is still possible to create iPhone games with the free basic Unity? If so, what are the major limitations of the free basic Unity in developing specifically for iPhone?

With Unity 3 they've put on a tremendous effort on world building tools – so that you can assemble and tweak your levels instantly. You can also edit, test and play. With Unity, testing your latest idea is not more than a click away. It lets you drill down to find the fun, then polish it until it gets perfect. The target platform can be switched instantly, so that you can develop from a single source for your mobiles, web, PC/Mac, or your consoles. We rewrote the Unity's rendering pipeline so that your games can look the best they can. Unity 3 can bring the beast lightmapping and Umbra occlusion culling to your table which is a key part of making games look great and run fast across all the devices. You can design the perfect aural ambiance with the new integrated audio filters and the in-scene editing tools. Captivating your audience has never been easier. Whether it is developing for web, mobile, or console, unity is the tool for the job. So to answer your query I can say that yes you can make games using the unity software.
