How to create iPhone ringtones?

I have recently bought an iPhone4 and I am finding it difficult to get some nice ringtones for it. I have some favorite song and want to set only those songs as my ringtones. I want to know that is there’s any way to create ringtones in iTunes from your favorite music. Is there any software or website which allow you to do that and if somebody know about how to make a ringtone for iPhone? I am really looking for some tried and tested solutions to create ringtone for iPhone. Thanks.

So you have got a new iPhone with you. You love to spend all your day with newly bought iPhone, with superb features and cool apps. You may have noticed that there are a number of songs in your music library. But you are unable to make ringtone from these songs. You may be glad to notice that, you can now enjoy your desired ringtone!

By using bit tricks you can achieve this very simply and free of cost from your non-DRM songs that are in iTunes. Don't think that this is an illegal approach! Well, you can use this trick on your Mac and as well as Windows PC.

First of all open the iTunes library and hit a song which you love to convert into a ringtone. Enjoy the song once and pick the part of the song which you need as ringtone. It would be good to start with chorus. You need to notice carefully the beginning and end time of the song.

Right click your song and hit on "Get info". Now, navigate to "options" tab. Now, type into the text box, located very next to "Start Time", the beginning time of the ringtone in the format of minutes:seconds. Similarly type into the text box, that is situated next to "Stop Time", the end time of your ringtone. Note that the length of ringtone must not exceed 40 seconds. You are almost done! Hit "OK"

You are required to right click the song once again and choose convert selection to AAC. Wait a couple of seconds for iTunes to convert your desired song. Right click the created ringtone and hit "Delete" and select "Keep Files". You can now search the file which is generally saved in your user folder with the extension of m4a. Well, replace the extension by m4r by renaming it. Now, hit on "Use. m4r" when you get a warning message from the system. iTunes will get added to the folder of ringtone by itself when you open the file.

That's it! You are done! Just connect your iPhone and synchronize your ringtone! Enjoy the music!
