I think you want a phone that is NOT any smartphone. I just took a look at verizon's wireless and saw that the LG enV Touch phone was a data capable but the data package was for just 9.99 a month. Other phones, like flip phones are data capable but they have the small screens in all least pricing cell phones.You're actually looking for mobile web. Some may be wifi capable but you'll have to check and even read the specs to know for sure. WIFI is data (think internet as opposed to voice), so you'll have to get some sort of data package. Smartphone data packages are 30 bucks, you could go for it also or even better Other non-smart data packages are 10 bucks only. Regardless, you will be paying for the voice services as well and texting messages if you want that. Compare phones. Look for mobile websites. Look at data packages available. Notice the differences to discover which phones are really going to satisfy your desire. Then go to which ever phone service company you would prefer to visit and make your deal. Or go to an online seller such as wirefly. You might get the same features at a better price.
