Hi there!

Intel and AMD are two different companies manufacturing Central processing Units (CPUs). By far, Intel is the largest company followed by AMD. Intel core processors are claimed to be more faster than the AMD processor, yet, there is hardly any difference that you might notice during the operation on your notebook.

Either of Asus G60J or G60JX is sure a nice pick. It's more of a gaming notebook and comes in the intel core 2 duo T9400, Intel core i5 430 m and intel core i7 720QM. I am not too sure in which model have they introduced the AMD processor, but I would personally advise you to go for the Intel core i& 720QM processor model (That is, ASUS G60 J).

The great thing is that the notebooks are powered by HDMI (High definition multimedia interface), which sertainly gives it an edge over it's competing models. Hi there!

AMD processors are function oriented and are very similar to Intel. The AMD Phenom and AMD Athlon, AMD FX 6-core and 8-core are the latest in the tech markets.

As far as your choice is concerned, ASUS g60 is know to be the gamer’s notebook. It has pre installed graphic and sound cards. I’d advise you to go for the Intel core model.

Cheers!
