Difference between a normal Cellphone and Pda cellphone?

My friend has got a Blackberry Pda cell phone which looks really nice but i really don't know what exactly is the difference between normal phone and a Pda cellphones and i really don't want to bother my friend. Do any one here also uses a Pda cellphone or any one really have some information about the key differences.I like to know whether it really makes any difference to use Pda cell phones than normal phones. If you could mention some authentic information resource that would also be great.

a normal phone does only basic activities as compared to a PDA( personal digital assistant). A Top end pda cell phones of 2011 will have a 4" touch screen , Dual core processor, HD video and picture taking capability ,8MP camera, Video call enabled and Great operating system to match the hardware. whereas a normal phone comes with a lot of obsolete technology as compared to a PDA. The camera in a Normal cell phone will be basic with little features to add on value like flash ,high pixels etc. A PDA will also have Email checking and replying facility, HDMI -out to connect with tv and other screens whereas such features will be absent in a normal one. It really makes a lot of difference to have a PDA with all its Capacity and features, it can make life very easy through getting all your mails on your phone, browsing for any information via 3G or WIFI on your phone itself and the latest is the ability to make Payments and operate your Bank account through it. Imagine so much
