This is a real screenshot of my Nokia E71 using the iPhone's operating system. It works perfectly and is very easy to install. And although it has touch screen, front camera uses the phone to give instructions just by moving your hand in front of it.

Well, actually the screenshot is real, but the operating system remains the same Symbian Series 60 3rd edition ever. Mosh simply installed from a theme called iPhone 3.3. and it looks pretty good. The camera is something that will work on that good finish Samir deign to wear the Handwave horizontal screen phones (currently already working in portrait mode, for example with the N95). If you mean something else, I take it the wrong way ... remember that today is April Fool's Day.

But Seriously: I wanted to talk that over the course of 2008 I had the opportunity to use for a while, and a Treo 700p that I am using it for sentimental reasons: a Treo 755p, a Palm Centro, iPhone, iPhone 3G a Blackberry Bold, a HTC Diamond and HTC TyTN II (aka Kaiser) and the Nokia 3555, 6120, 6210, E61, N82 and N95. But none as much as I liked the phone I use every day: the Nokia E71. No wonder I have traveled several times much of the republic, "evangelizing" about this little wonder. I could not finish the year without sharing a little of my opinion on this device.

Let's start with the obvious: it has no touch screen. It is the only one but that may be on this team. There's nothing there to do: the best touch screen I've seen so far on a computer that is sold in Mexico is the iPhone. But that's only temporary: 2009 will be a year of touch screens will get their second wind and see amazing things of all brands. The first of LG and Samsung have already arrived, and it is assumed that Palm has yet prepared a trick up his sleeve to try to save from extinction. To be honest, in most situations where I used the E71 I missed not having a touch screen.

The Nokia E71 is a very powerful and yet very practical. To begin with, is the most stylish team in the market: with only 10mm thick, is the slimmest Smartphone, including iPhone. Your keyboard is surprisingly easy to use despite its size, and is very pleasing to the eye and touch. It also has two home screens, which I can customize and me I want to. For example, the screenshot of this note is the theme I use on my screen "entertainment" Yes, this topic icons look the same to the iPhone, Symbian items are 100% configurable and thus enjoy in my Nokia the only thing I really like the iPhone. Upon entering the entertainment mode will automatically turn off email alerts to keep bugging me are when I'm with my family. On Monday morning he returns to "work" and ready: here's the summary of my mail waiting on the home screen.

To receive my email use Nokia Intellisync (which is commercially available as Telcel's Mobile Office powered by Intellisync) and I get my messages automatically, sometimes even faster than my computer's Outlook. The truth is that this application is a beauty to what the corporate mail. If your mail is POP or IMAP can also try the newly released Nokia Email service, also based on Intellisync. Nothing but do not forget to hire an unlimited data plan to use the service, because if you are not going to get expensive. One detail: neither Nokia Email or Nokia Intellisync work with Hotmail. If you want to change this, please send them feedback to Microsoft.

The music player deserves a mention. I have an 8 GB MicroSD and the truth I could not fill it with music, however the player has no trouble reading a list of thousands of songs in seconds. Audio quality is excellent using the included earbuds and is a way of "stereo widening" which simulates practice listening to music in a room instead of using headphones.

I could go hours with all that this phone comes factory, but it is my goal. If you have an E71 and want to learn to use it fully, I recommend this series of tutorials Nokia. They are very well structured and easy to use. And cover almost all phone functions.
