The news of i-mate JAQ3 started sprouting out on the web in the month of September. Now, the news has arrived that the sleek and slim QWERTY keyboard ready Windows Mobile Pocket PC phone is heading for a US debut this month. The i-mate JAQ3 boasts an improved design and enhanced build quality along with the same high end features as of the PDAL.

Far better than the real i-mate JAQ that moved into the market before JAQ3 was announced, the new PC phone comes with a chopped off size and weight. It comes equipped with 802.11b/g WiFi connectivity, a 2.0-megapixel camera. Other salient features include:
2.4" touchscreen from the PDAL
128MB ROM and 64MB RAM
microSD memory card slot
Bluetooth with A2DP
GPRS/EDGE
Scroll wheel to browse through Windows Mobile 5.0 with AKU3.2 O.S.
The i-mate JAQ3 surely has been made tough to make a mark in the stiff Windows Mobile QWERTY phone market. It will be made available through both the carriers and retailers by the end of January.
