MWC '09 : Acer unveils Tempo smartphone range
At MWC, Acer finally established its imminent ingression to the smartphone arena. Impressively, it scripts a decent presence while unveiling 4 pristine Window Mobile series’ handsets, dubbed Tempo. Won’t say that they’re all the same; the tech specs don’t allow me to do so! Still one similarity is so very flagrant i.e. all run on Windows Mobile 6.1.
Technical Specifications of Acer M900: This funky slider exhibits a 5 megapixel camera, a 3.8″ WVGA (800 x 480), HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, full QWERTY keypad and a fingerprint reader.

Technical Specifications of Acer F900: A Shell UI built on Windows Mobile 6.1, 800 x 480 3.8″ touchscreen, 3.2 megapixel camera, and HSUPA/HSDPA.
Technical Specifications of Acer X960: A 2.8″ VGA, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.2 megapixel camera and GPS with top mapping software.
Technical Specifications of DX900: A 2.8inch VGA screen and a dual SIM slot running both EDGE and 3G.
Pricing & Availability: No words on pricing as yet, except an opinion that suggests Acer X960 to be cheaper than the rest in the line-up. Same goes for availability as well; you might lay your hands on them soon.
