The last thing you want to see is ‘cracks on your brand new shiny over-hyped iPhone 3G’. Let’s not even talk about the money you wasted, but what hurts most is waiting for it in lines for hours, going through all the pain and mental fatigue to reach the counter. Only to realize that there’s some problem with AT&T and your iPhone won’t be activated. People even forgot the initial pain as they got what they wanted, a brand new shiny over-hyped (did I say that already?) iPhone 3G. But this is Blasphemy; white iPhones have started to crack. The plastic part of the iPhone is beginning to crack and that’s not a pretty sight, no matter how rich you are. Reports are only restricted to white ones but maybe people have failed to notice cracks on black iPhones. So if you still haven’t bought one then wait for a while and see if this is a rare case or an epidemic. Though I doubt that fanboys (who somehow haven’t managed to get their hands on iPhone 3G) will care about little cracks on iPhone and that’s what defines the level of over-hypeness of iPhone.

The Apple iPhone is no longer a novelty. By the sheer utility factor, it is well below some of the high end mobiles already available in the market for a long time now. Cracking iPhones may or may not be indirectly have the blessings of Apple, but surely cracking iPhone has become a fad these days by the self-proclaimed geeks.
it never was, just the huge internal memory works for them cause the likes of O2/HTC/imate have been around for long and their handsets have always been way better than iPhone. Better computing power and better built quality as well. Apple products have always been nothing more than fashion accessories and that still remains. iPhone strongest point (technically) was and still is it’s multi-touch screen and interface, thats it
