Cellphones That Scream Noisily!

A UK firm, Remote XT, has developed a new cellphone security system that works with Symbian or Windows Mobile operating system. The new technology dubbed Remote XT technology will lastingly lock the cellphone and clears all your valued data when it is stolen.

Once you activate the software by making a call to the call center, the stolen handset will start screaming loudly. Even if the thief replaces the SIM, the phone will be of no use and the screaming stops only if the battery is taken out. But, when the battery is inserted, it again starts screaming. That's pretty cool.

Presently, the system will set you back 120 pounds (Rs 10,300) per year with a subscription plan.
