Another day and another cell phone from the house of Motorola. FCC has approved the new Motorola W220 cell phone that comes in the chic clamshell design like the Motorola Canary.
Being an entry-level phone, the W220 lacks the camera and Bluetooth. Targeted at a large crowd, the W220 clamshell phone integrates a FM radio, MMS functionality and 128×128 CSTN color display. Let me tell you that W220 even features a WAP 2.0-compliant web browser.
The W220 is expected to be releases in Q3 of 2006. No words on pricing and availability.
