FCC Approves Linux Based Motorola A810

Posted By: Atul Roach | Apr 28 2008

In a rarity of sorts, the new Smart Phone from Motorola, the A 810 has been revealed with a Linux based platform and quite pleasingly has been approved by FCC. Other than that unfamiliar software equipping, it comes with a large touchscreen display with both keyboard and handwriting recognition options available. I am a touch disappointed with the camera not hitting anything more than 2 Megapixel but then may be they justify it with a reasonable pricing which isn’t known as yet. The US buyers shouldn’t expect this one coming to them as of know for it does not support the GSM 850MHz band.
