The current record holder for the world's slimmest phone, the Samsung SGH-X820 won't be able to hold the crown for a long span since LG Philips is claiming to have produced the world's slimmest LCD screen for cellphones. That could bring a new revolution in the designing of slim and sexy phones.

Measuring at a mere 1.3 mm (about 32% slimmer than the thinnest TFT LCD displays and 0.2 mm thinner than OLEDs), the innovative screen produces a startling brightness of 400 nits. Let's see which phone gets lucky enough to feature the new slimmest screen.
