Motorola i880 finally finds a place on Sprint Nextel

I know that many of you were anxiously waiting for the Motorola IDEN phones to make a debut. Well, the wait is over as Motorola i880 has found a place for itself on the Sprint Nextel, The i880 has been launched on the iDEN Nextel network. It doesn't feature any antimicrobial coating like its predecessor, the i870.

The salient features of the new Motorola i880 are a 176 × 220 pixel 262k color display, an MP3 player with external dedicated keys, a 2.0-megapixel camera, speakerphone, Bluetooth, and a microSD card slot with an included 64MB card.

The streamlined Motorola i880 is being offered in many markets. The handset will set you back $299 with a 2-year service agreement and $50 mail-in-rebate.
