MWg and Splashpower all set to release wirelessly chargeable phones

MWg is newly branded old company, they once used to release their phones under O2 brand and HTC has also made phones for them. At CES 2008 they show cased their latest phone ‘Atom Life’ which is already available in US market. They are back in news with their promise of bringing wirelessly chargeable phones to market this year. They today announced that with Splashpower’s inductive charging they will soon launch mobile phones that can be charged wirelessly by using a special pad that will be plugged to the wall. Hopefully they’ll fulfill their promise soon and we’ll finally get rid of those tangled wires.
