Nokia has announced to develop GPS-based satellite navigation technology for its N-series multimedia handsets with the possession of Gate5, the producer of route-planning software and smart2go software for Symbian smart phones.
Nokia has planned to update its Nokia 770 internet tablet with the Gate5 navigation software by procuring a separate GPS unit.
