Samsung Saga and Renown announced officially

Samsung's i770 Saga QWERTY phone and clamshell world phone, Renown, are now available online at Verizon Wireless. Both the phones have their own target audience. While the Saga is a high-end smartphone, the Renown is a mid-range flip phone. Moreover, the Saga is the first phone to require Verizon's mandatory $29.99 a month plan.

Technical Specifications for Samsung Saga: Support for CDMA / EVDO, and GSM / GPRS networks, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, QWERTY keyboard, 2.55-inch touchscreen, 2-megapixel camera, built-in optical mouse, Wi-Fi access, support for microSD/microSDHC memory cards, and Bluetooth technology.

Technical Specifications for Samsung Renown: Support for CDMA / EVDO, and GSM / GPRS networks, 2 Mpix camera A2DP Bluetooth support, support for microSD/microSDHC memory cards, two displays, and Verizon's Visual Voice Mail application.

Pricing & Availability: The Samsung Saga comes at $200, after a $70 mail-in rebate and with a 2-year contract, while the Samsung Renown will come on November 19th for $180 after a $50 mail-in rebate with the 2-year agreement.
