
Known for its music phone, Samsung has announced the availability of its new mobile phone called the Katalyst. Samsung’s new Katalyst is compatible with the T-Mobile HotSpot@ Home service. This slider GSM handset is also called the SGH t739, which is featured with wireless connectivity to make calls to your home over the wireless network. The new Katalyst also allows you to make call on any one of the 8500 T-Mobile hotspots in the country. It also supports Quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity.
It is also equipped with a 1.3 MP camera screen with 176×220px resolution, Bluetooth, music player and instant messaging capabilities with support for widely used services like AOL, Yahoo and Windows Live Messenger. The device has also expandable memory with a microSD card slot.
You can grab the Samsung SGH-T739 Katalyst from T-Mobile for $80 with a contract agreement. The T-Mobile HotSpot @Home service is not included, and costs a fee in addition to your normal plan.
