Sprint bringing updated firmware for Samsung Instinct users

The launch of the Samsung Instinct heralded the arrival of the decent competitor for the iPhone with its 3.1-inch touchscreen, three hard navigation keys, EV-DO Rev connectivity and GPS navigation capability. However, these features don’t seem enough for the Instinct to compete with the new iPhone 3G. This perhaps is the reason why it needed updated apps and after receiving the firmware updates last month, Sprint is bringing firmware updates for its users over the next few weeks. The updates will enhance the quality of picture mail, web browser, Sprint TV and Radio, Sprint Navigation, Sprint Email, Sprint Music Store, Visual Voicemail and Mobile Sync.
