Verizon Confirms Samsung Intensity and Rogue Release
The wait for an ideal budget phone from Samsung is over as Verizon has confirmed the release of the Intensity U450 today along with the reasonably priced Rogue U960. The release date for both these models was not certain but speculations were ripe that the Intensity and the Rogue will be available from today. The Rogue has a 3.1-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen with a QWERTY keyboard and a 3MP camera. Verizon is offering the phone for $99.99 after a $100 mail-in-rebate on a two-year contract. As far as the Intensity is concerned, it is an ultra low-budget phone with a 2.1-inch LCD display, a QWERTY Keypad and a 1.3 MP camera. The intensity will cost $29.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate. Both these texting centric phones are available for purchase in Verizon stores across the US right away. Intensity pictured after the jump.
