As it is a security issue, he assured that Apple is currently working on it to permit third party developers to build applications for the iPhone.

After considering possibilities that may arise due to third party applications, which can lead to crashing of phone few times a day like other phones, Jobs asserted that we are trying to eliminate the problem but it will take some time.

Having a mobile phone that doesn't hang every once in a while will be a great change and this new innovation will certainly help Apple to gain more points against Microsoft.
