Wrist-mounting projector phone wins LG next phone design challenge

Here’s something we seriously did not see coming. Winner of the LG next phone design challenge, this wrist-strapping pen-shaped cellphone/mobile projector is certainly a futuristic gizmo with unprecedented vision. The concept was created by designer Dave Schultze who apparently sought inspiration from the web-shooting abilities of a certain fiction hero we so lovingly call Spidey.

The wrist-bound beamer can project images, video and other information on the back of the user's hand, as well as other surfaces. Though the projector looks quite handy, pun intended, one wonders if trying to watch a full length movie or a proper slide show with this thing will result in an enormous bitching wrist strain!
