Motorola QA4 Evoke is a device "socially oriented" (you can put widgets with different content) with 2.8-inch touch screen and 240x400 pixels resolution. As you can see, it has an alphanumeric keypad that slides which adds the virtual QWERTY can be used horizontally thanks to the accelerometer. That combination can be good for some users but I see a design quite similar to the Pre but without the physical QWERTY.

Features

CDMA/EVDO Rev A

A-GPS

HTML Full Browser

Bluetooth

music Player

2 megapixel camera

108 x 50.5 x 17.5 mm

128 grams

Price of Motorola Evoke Q4A is $280.

Here is a list of advantages and disadvantages in my very personal opinion.

Good points

1. Evoke is aesthetically very beautiful (looks like the iphone)

1. Supports EV-DO

2. Its touchscreen interface works surprisingly well.

3. It has a loud and clear when making calls.

4.Take great pictures with its 2 megapixel camera.

5. In my experience the use of equipment (usually) is faster than Windows Mobile and Symbian.6. It is the first mobile phone that supports virtualization.

7. Bring some factory applications such as weather, youtube, myspace, and an RSS feed reader fully customizable, of course with this application read the news page of my local newspaper (Debate, Linea Directa, Northwest) to date.

8. There is hope on the part of users evoke that being a pioneer both in computer interface, operating system and type, motorola pay more attention to yourself and any update can use java and flash plugins on it.

9. Is reasonably cheaper and better than other teams that are in the same price range

10. You can sign up several e-mails, brings a program for this purpose, I have discharged my mail and a corporate gmail (pop3).11. It has a virtual QWERTY keyboard which works reasonably well.

11. Has physical keyboard is qwerty but not help you when you do not want to use the touchscreen.

12. You can synchronize contacts from gmail on our team, this is not lost thanks to the contacts I had in my MOTOQ had since before MOTOQ synchronized to gmail.

13. The combination EVOKE - IUSACELL is very good

Bad things

15. The evoke no java (factory installed) and according to officials who have visited blogs currently can not install for now (January 2010), ie can not install java the thousands of applications available online.

1. You can not install opera mini, google earth, ebuddy, msn, and a long etcetera17. You can not synchronize your computer or connect to the computer through any formal or informal program known to date, which is unacceptable for most simple phone can be synchronized either Motorola or Nokia.

2. The integrated web browser plugin does not support flash or any

3. Not compatible with Motorola Phone Tools, P2K, rsdtools, etc. QPST.

4. You can not do tethering (bam free) with the date.

5. No brew applications available to date on the icon of the team brew.

6. Looks like a copy of the iphone but with physical keyboard (not QWERTY)

7. According to official motorola blogs apart from the applications (widgets) that brings the manufacturing equipment will not create more applications motorola officers.

8. Mobile virtualization that this team has is LINUX - LINUX BREW hopefully outside - Symbian or Linux - JAVA

9. It's almost a smartphone

10. We do not have console access to Linux (as could be done on the A200).

11. We can create custom scripts linux.

Overall this is a good mobile phone.
