Is it fine to make cell phone use while driving to text ?

I work in Boston city and make a long drive to reach my office but in the meanwhile I am required to attend many important conversation on my phone. Since mobile use is banned during driving I would like to know whether I can use it for doing text while driving. I have a very little information on traffic laws and would like your suggestions to improve the situation.

stopping by the sideways and answering the phone is always the best option rather than cell phone use while driving ,if you have to spend a lot time while driving. as far as Boston is concerned, the laws for whole of Massachusetts will apply on Boston too. hand held ban has been made a local option for which you will have to check with the local driving license officials. all cell phone ban is for School bus drivers, passenger bus drivers, drivers younger than 18. texting ban is for All drivers (effective 09/30/10).going by the laws ,you can use a Bluetooth headset ranging from $8.99 by Samsung on the amazon.com.do find out if it is compatible with your headset and get your calls answered while on the move but no texting,as it is banned in your area. i would anytime suggest you to not go on fiddling with your life and waste it in a hustle.
