How can I fix or replace the mini USB port?

About a week ago, my Seagate drive fell off the table where I was sitting. Nothing was being read or written from it at the time, so I have a feeling that the internal drive was not damaged. However, I see noticeable damage to the usb 3.0 flash drive on it, and it is no longer recognized by my computer. Is there any way to somehow fix or replace that usb 3.0 flash drive? If yes then please send your feedback as soon as possible.

First take off the back cover and remove the battery. Next remove the screws holding the phone together. Remove the screws, gently pull the phone apart. Carefully place the board in your clamp/Panavise/whatever. You’ll need a new connectorbefore you can fix anything. Slice the top off of the connector by cutting thesides lengthwise. Next, cut across the center of the connector. The bent pinsshould be gently cut loose and the upper half of the plastic connector willprobably fall apart. The shielding on the sides should be cut to allow each legto be removed individually. (Be careful not to cut the PC board below!)Finally, the remaining legs of the shielding were heated and removed from theboard. After that, I used de-soldering braid to remove the excess solder fromthe pads. Not everything came out perfectly. Now we’re ready for the new port. There’s one difference between the original and the replacement: two pins thatare designed to align the port on the board. They’re plastic, so it’s an easyfix. Next, the pins on the new port need to be soldered. Use a widertip to solder things and go back over the pins with de-soldering braid toremove any solder bridges. If you forgot to remove the rear shield, you’ll have one hell of a time soldering the pins. Hope this information is helpful to you.
