Flip Cell Phones. Are they durable?

My mind goes covetous whenever I look any one with flip cell phones. So I finally decided to buy the same for myself, but before buying that I need to take your suggestions that are they durable, as I have heard many people saying that flip cell phones do not have long life as its folding belts get damaged very soon. I want to know any one of you who have used such flip cell phone what is your experience about it.

Mate Flip phones have always been one of the biggest fascination of mine whenever i even thought about phones.

And my quest of owning a beautiful slim and sexy cell phone finally ended last month when i also purchased a Samsung SCH-R330 Stride.A simple flip phone with a 1.3-megapixel camera and Bluetooth.

The keypad is roomy, it's easy to use, and the most amazing is the call quality which is extremely good.To go deep into the qualities of the phone, on the front of the phone is a small 1.0-inch external display.

It only has a 96x96-pixel resolution and 65,000 colors, but it works fine for displaying the normal date, time, signal strength, and battery life information.

The camera lens sits above the external display, while the volume rocker is on the left spine. On the right are the 2.5mm headset jack, the dedicated camera key, and the charger jack.

Right under the navigation array is the number keypad.

The keys are spaced apart well and are distinctly separate from each other. I was able to text and dial with speed, thanks to the nice springy feel of the rubberized keys.

I am a proud owner of a flip phone and believe me its awesome to have one of those.
