Can anyone share about any good Mobile Web Design tutorial?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a tutorial or any solid documentation on designing for mobile devices. So I want to know does anyone here know of a good step by step tutorial or a video? The only good book I could find seems to just show cell phones that haven't been on the market in 10 years. I really need your help friends, please help!

I continually technically poorly designed pages (not even the big companies are saved). The culprits are webmasters who claim to know HTML, but studied it for years, when there was no CSS.

This is not a basic HTML tutorial (learn how to make a website before), but trying to be a "manual of good behavior" for those who provide Internet pages. Explain how to make a page look good in all browsers using HTML 4.01 Strict, which then allows you to move to better languages like XHTML, effortlessly.

I'm no expert on this, and what I say here is my opinion, but you'll see that coincides with that of anyone who understands the subject. Finally, if you need examples, you can start looking at this site, I consider it well done.

If a client asks me to adapt your website to mobile phones I can not offer only iphone / android, it must also be accommodated, for example, Symbian and BlackBerry.

The link I've spent is interesting but I used to make native applications on these devices, which is not the case, what I mean is to make compatible websites / adapted to these phones ...

I have read on the internet but so far can not find a manual that speak more or less extensive in this issue ..

First of all, you should know that the iPhone OS is not running a mini web browser, it runs Safari Mobile, a full browser with some modifications which uses the Safari rendering engine. Therefore, any page that displays correctly in Safari for Windows or Mac, are displayed correctly on the iPhone without any modifications.

However, we can optimize and improve the navigation of our website for the iPhone.

The iPhone has a small screen, so it is necessary to hide unnecessary page elements. The more elements exist, the user will spend more time moving down the page and zooming to see better the elements
