How to use Google Phone Nexus One?

I just bought an unlocked Google Nexus One for use on AT&T. I have no idea as how do I get started using it and activate it? Do I go to an AT&T store and just buy a SIM card and activate AT&T service. I would like to use the N1 as soon as possible. Help me out of this problem. Thanks.
