Can anyone inform me about HTC Droid ERIS?

DROID ERIS smart phone by HTC for Verizon Wireless is powered by Android. This is the only information that I have of this cool phone. Can anyone give me more information about HTC Droid ERIS smart phone as I would like to have this phone with me in near future? I will appreciate your feedback. Thanks.

The HTC Droid Eris is the second Android phone that Verizon has launched this fall. This simplified droid is basically the little brother of Droid and is being marketed as such. Is half the price of $ 99 with the contact of 2 years and so far the cheapest available Android phone.

Here's a quick rundown of features:
Android 1.5
5MP camera w / autofocus
3.2in display
528MHz processor
288 MB of RAM
512 MB of ROM
8GB microSD Card (Class 2)
CDMA Rev A
Wi-Fi
GPS
Bluetooth
Magnetometer (compass)
3.5 mm headphone jack

Applications
Pre-loaded applications include:
Amazon MP3 store, Verizon Visual Voicemail
Google Maps, Calendar, Talk, Gmail, Youtube
Quickoffice, PDF Viewer, Peep (Twitter)
Actions (using Yahoo finance?), Time (HTC application which is very good)
I am disappointed that this phone does not come with Android 2.0. The phone has 1.5 (for now) Because of this there are many things missing compared to the Moto Droid: Combined mail box, universal search and navigation of Google Maps. Lame.

Another thing I found strange: there is an option to send photos to Facebook as it takes, and it works, but the Facebook application is anywhere. You also get status updates on the Notification menu. By clicking on your friend who is brought to your profile via the web browser. There is no way to invite your Facebook friends as contacts like the Moto Droid. There is a way to connect an existing contact with a contact in Facebook, however, it has to be done manually for each contact. I assume this is the difference between Android applications 1.5 and 2.0 Facebook. The Eris definitely not in the department of Facebook.

On the menu data synchronization 'PC - Outlook Contacts and Calendar "is an option. This is not an option in the Moto Droid. Although you can download a software to synchronize your calendar is more difficult to synchronize your contacts with the Moto Droid and Outlook. I wonder why Google took this option, I know that many people are wanting. I'm going to guess, because they want you to manage your contacts from Outlook and Google does not.
