Is there any improvement with Virgin Mobile?

My contract with Vodacom has expired and I'm looking to move to a service provider who can provide me with a Smartphone at reasonable rates. Virgin Mobile has some great offers but I'm just concerned about the massive negative publicity only a few positives and apparent lack of concern by their management. How bad is it really? Has there been any improvement since they left Cell C? Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

There is no big improvement in virgin mobile. There are ample amount of deals in the prepaid plan which provides unlimited plans on different service providers and you can even keep an eye on the bill. Here is a comparison of various deals offered by different service providers. As you said that you need to have the best of the customer care services and mobile coverage as well, then I think you must definitely choose one from that of AT&T and Verizon. You can go with AT&T network its monthly limited plan offers unlimited minutes for the whole month with free network calling as well as free nights/weekends. Other than this the SMS cost for this plan would be $.15/ea, which is the lowest by all the service providers. The package would cost you around $69.99/ month. Also one can have a look at the T-Mobile offer which offers unlimited monthly minutes with free nights/ weekends, and SMS cost would be $.20/ea and it comes at a shocking cost of $49.99 monthly. I personally would advise you the prepaid plan which is far better than the contract deals.
