After all the hype about iPhone 3G, people had waited outside for long hours and many did not get to buy the phone they so desired to buy. The very fact that they were turned back empty handed does damage to Apple’s image. While this could be forgiven, what really annoyed people was that the one’s who got their iPhones had to deal with many technical glitches. Apple had to scramble to fix an error in itunes, which prevented iPhone acolytes from activating the next generation phones. It is necessary for the iPhone to be synced with itunes in order to get it activated. The most annoyed were the fanboys, who waited outside stores only to be turned away or face with problems. Though the issues might be minor, such incidents create ripples in the industry and people might think twice before buying a phone. People however seem to be still taken over by the sleek designs and the attractive price tag.
