What are the features and specs of ipad second generation?

I am planning to buy an apple or hp pad but think that ipad second generation is better option to put my money on as I have done a little research on it. iPad 2 is thinner and boasts front and rear cameras, facetime video chat, a faster processor, and 3G options for both AT&T and Verizon. I want to know more about it so provide me ipad2 review so that I can make a buying decision. A detailed answer may be given to me to choose a perfect one.

Hi, in my personal opinion getting an Apple iPad is a way better option as the HP Touchpad was recently shut down by HP and the whole division was shelved. This showed that it completely failed to compete against the iPad (as have most other tablets in the market).

Along with the basic features that you have mentioned let’s get to some detailed specs of the Apple iPad 2: (let me list only the essential specs which would be all that you would need to know before making your decision).

A5, 1Ghz dual core processor, custom designed by Apple for the iPad 2. It is high performance and low power.

The back camera: it records HD video up to 720p @ 30 frames per second with audio. The still camera has 5x digital zoom.

Front camera: this one is VGA and can be used for recording video as well as to click pictures and to video chat.

Battery Life: Gives upto 10 hours of battery life. The battery can be charger via USB as well.

Screen: 9.7 inch, glossy, widescreen display which offers multi touch input capabilities. 1024*768 pixel resolution.

Connectivity: One version has only wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1, the more expensive version has the previous two as well as 3g (UMTS?HSPA/HSUPA) and GSM, EDGE.

Memory: The memory options available are from 16 GB to 64GB.

Also has GPS, TV and Video capabilities.

Also the Apple appstore has the maximum apps for a tablet which is an added benefit and in fact a major differentiator in the tablet and the smartphone market.
