Given our prevalent preoccupation with the iPhone, it was obvious to get caught up in the iPhone hoopla. However, all the interesting apps, hoaxes and news that surfaced since the launch of iPhone 4, made little relevance to people living outside US, until the dudes at the iPhoneDevTeam ‘officially’ freed it from the clutches of AT&T’s cellular network allowing to take it to another carrier or use it on any GSM network in the world. Known for bringing the “ultrasn0w” tool for previous iPhone models, the iPhoneDevTeam had to rewrite the entire ultrasn0w software owing to the new baseband that Apple installed in the iPhone 4. However, for those who anticipate unlocking the iPhone 4, you got to wait for that unlocking video, but even then this isn’t going to be permanent unlocking solution.
