iPhone unlock

I have with me a brand new iPhone 4, but I did something foolish thing with it, I am on t mobile so I need to unlock it. But I decided to update it to 4.3.5 before I unlocked it. Is there anything else I can do? I'm new to this whole iPhone unlocking thing of course. If there's nothing, about how long do you think it will take for unlocking to come out? Please help because I am new to it and its new tool and I am really stuck in a great problem.

Every iPhone 4 firmware update is actually a new and somewhat distorted version of the preceding iphone Operating System. This means that programs likeBlackRa1n, which jailbreak your iphone 4, only work foroperating systems that have productively been hacked. BlackRa1n's writer, a programmer who goes by the name of GeoHot, has not yet hacked the latest operating system 3.1.3, which while being very similar to 3.1.2, is different enough that the preceding jail breaking method will not work. Yes you can rotate it off and turn it back on. This is called an untethered jailbreak. What you were asking about was a thethred jailbreak. A tethered jailbreak means that no, you can still turn back on when you turn it off, just it isn't jail broken. You would have to jailbreak it again. Fortunately, the jailbreaks I scheduled are untethered.
