Why is Jawbone not pairing with Iphone 4?

I am now a days facing a weird kind of problem that is as, I am turning on my Bluetooth; it won't discover my jawbone icon. I then tried my Motorola S9 stereo headset and then the phone recognizes it and pairs fine. So I'm not sure if it's the phone or some incompatibility with the Jawbone. I sure don't want to shell out another $100 for a new headset. Please help me out. Looking for some expert advice.

iPhone and other smart phones generally do not need the Bluetooth pairing pass key which contains four zeros. Some phones need this pass key and others don't. If you're pairing with iPhone and if you get a message that says Jawbone Not Paired/Headset Not Paired then press on that message. It will prompt the iPhone to continue with the pairing/connection. The iPhone wants you to acknowledge that the headset has been found but it's not yet paired. Press on the message "Jawbone Not Paired" the way you would press on the screen of your iPhone to open an application or an e-mail. Good luck.
