It’s interesting that your college is preparing for cell phone quiz contest. I had also attended a quiz for cell phone for which I had collected some statistics but unfortunately I was not the winner of that contest. Anyways, some data came out that over 70% of the world’s population is now using the cell phones that is over 5.7 million subscribers and when we talk about place like US then 9 in 10 people are using cell phone. It have been analyzed that among children now cell phones is more popular then the books, figures came out that over 87% of the children are owning cell phones and at the same time only 75% are have books. While talking about technology Apple is at the top in selling its cell phone and iPhones world wide. While Google’s Android OS is growing at a very fast rate, and at same rate it will overtake all other as the leading smart phone OS. When we talk in cellular services AT&T have announced a $1.9 billion deal to by a radio spectrum space from Qualcomm. And most od the provider are planning to come up with 4G services.
