Can we use LG bd390 as audio server?

I need an audio server for my PC and I would like to know if anyone had any experience using the LG BD390 as an audio server? Because it has a 250GM HD, a decent built in DAC, plus digital outputs. I understand you can rip right to it in multiple formats, plus it has life. So you could put a ton of CDs on it. But I want to know more about it please help me.

Step 1. you need to Uninstalled Essentials and then reinstall it.

Step 2. make sure the folders that your media is in shared.(in windows) may be this could be the fixer

Step 3. Make sure that all of your video files were in same format(mgp).

Step 4. You need to remove the list of the seen folders in the media home, rebooted and added the folders to watch again.
Step 5. You can watch moviesand also listen to mp3 VIA THE BD390.

You will find somthing which you could use in your Windows Media Server. Then you will need to setup using the same principle such as Nero MediaHome software. BD390 will recognize Windows Media Server. BD390 will also be able to recognize LAN network attached storage devices with server capabilities.

You will experience a bit further by using of the setup you already have seen and files on a RCA 32" regular boob tube. I use a Yamaha RX-V663 A/V receiver for Audio and Video input/output. Works fine. Of course it is not High Def on the boob tube but it is pretty darn sharp and clear.

You will also have to setup hook up to a 480p overhead projector and a 28" Hannpree High Def Monitor/viewer. Windows Media Player will not show the thumbnails. You will be able to watch Divx movies too. So now you can see it in the process of converting your videos to Divx via TmpgEnc software.

BTW I had the same problem with support when it came to this setup. The BD390 is new for the Tech support to know what it is all about.

Your next endeavor will be to acquire Metadata for the files on the server. try it, Windows Media Center Extenders have this, so should the BD390 and this Nero Server.
