LG unveils new addition to its LG Optimus series

The Korean electronics giant LG has unveiled plans to introduce 10 new smart devices worldwide in the second half of this year under the LG Optimus label. The company has decided to launch the Optimus Series, a family of smartphones that'll run "on a range of operating systems as well as Android." Revealing the next two Android devices in the series, the LG Optimus One with Google and Optimus Chic will both ship with Android 2.2. While both feature Google apps and integration, the LG Optimus Chic is targeted at fashion aficionados or more towards the women market. Further details surrounding pricing, availability and specifications still remains to be seen.
