Microsoft interns joins the hoopla with free Windows Phone 7 Smartphones

Is Microsoft taking its unique marketing strategy a bit too far? It’s hard to say right now, but it’s just been a week since Microsoft appeased all those hard working employees by promising them free Windows Phone 7 handsets and now Microsoft has announced that interns working for the company would be able to join the Windows Phone 7 hoopla as well.

Steve Ballmer, when asked (at an "Intern Talk") if Microsoft interns would also be receiving free Windows Phone 7 handsets, replied, "Recruiting doesn't have the budget, but I do. So, Yes!..." further adding “…that was the most expensive last question I've ever had."
